I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is back!
With reality TV season now into fill swing, it wouldn’t feel complete without the usual shenanigans and bickering in the Australian jungle, hosted by the country’s two favourite Geordies Ant and Dec. “I’m a Celebrity…” returns to our screen this coming Sunday, 15th November at 9:00pm on ITV and it’s set to be just a much fun as season’s gone by. You’d be crazy to miss it.
There’s been weeks and weeks of rumours flying around as to who has and hasn’t agreed to be dropped into the Aussie bush for a fortnight but we now know the final confirmed line-up is to be Jorgie Porter, Yvette Fielding, Kieron Dyer, Duncan Bannatyne, Lady Colin Campbell, Brian Friedman, Chris Eubank, Spencer Matthews, Susannah Constantine, Vicky Pattison, George Shelley and Ferne McCann. So a good mix of celebrities past and present, plus a few questionable one’s as to their actual celebrity status and who they really are.
Numerous rumours have also circulated that there could be a few surprise extras joining the group later on such as Josh Cuthbert, Christine Ouzounian, Jake Wood, Leslie Ash, James Arthur, Paul Gascoigne, Will Mellor, Denise van Outen, Tulisa Contostavlos, Caitlyn Jenner, Gemma Collins, Chloe Mafia and possibly Louis Walsh. In fact, anyone who’s been out of work recently or needs the exposure to further their careers. We’ll just have to wait and see who it will be.
What we do know is Autumn wouldn’t feel right without our fix of grub-eating and insect infested celebs faced with terrifying bushtucker trials and starvation-fuelled fall outs now would it? Next Sunday we’ll be glued to the television for another couple of weeks of unmissable television gold.
New TV series starting November, 2015
If you have the taste for something completely different and fresh, then this month looks great for brand new TV series.
“London Spy” starts on BBC Two this coming Monday, 16th November at 9:00pm, with leading character Danny, played by Ben Whishaw, a hedonistic romantic who becomes drawn into the dangerous world of espionage in this modern, fast-moving and sometimes dark thriller. He falls for the enigmatic Alex, played by Edward Holcroft, who are from completely opposite worlds, but soon realise they’re the perfect match. With Alex’s sudden disappearance, Danny is left ill-equipped to take on this complex and dangerous world to discover dark secrets and what happened to his partner.
This one could be worth a look but if it’s not to your liking then perhaps flick over to Sky One to check out “After Hours” from 9:30pm the same day.
Willow Hannigan is a teenage music lover who’s just had his heart broken for the first time. There’s no jobs in town, his ex-girlfriend Jasmine has moved on to someone new and most of his mates have left home to go to university whilst he’s stuck, living at home with his parents.
The only thing that keeps him sane is listening to After Hours, a local internet radio show broadcast from a canal boat, run by Lauren and Ollie, two friends in their late twenties.
Starring some familiar faces from recent TV series including Ardal O’Hanlon, John Thomson and Jaime Winstone, this one could be a real gem in amongst a group of new shows that Sky have put a great deal of time and investment into. Definitely worth recording and watching later if you can’t get to see it.
